The Military Working group of the Peace Conference on the Middle East, meeting in the United nations Tent at Kilometre 101 on the Cairo-Suez Road, today ended its work on 25 January. Soldiers of the Indonesian Battalion left and of the Finnish Battalion right are seen in the process of taking their positions around the United Nations tent prior to the meeting. (FSUN: CTBR: INDO*) Indonesian batallion serves in Egypt with UNEF
And Indonesian batallion of 603 officers and men as began service with the UNEF in Egypt. After an advance party reached Egypt earilier on 21 January 1957. The main contingen arrived at Abu Suweir between 12 and 16 January 1957.
